Project 9 Commercial Portraits and Fine Art - PreWork

I chose the two fine art portraits because I really liked how the photographers used lighting in both of the photos. They have a similar mood, and both images are able to display a lot of emotion. The two magazine covers have great composition and color, making the images stand out. The first magazine has the two contrasting colors of blue and orange, causing the subject to stand out more. Many magazine covers have the main focus be a portrait, and some even use certain aspects fine art in their covers. However, most of the time magazine covers have more realistic looking photos with a lot of editing, with the models usually hired. Fine art is generally more of a natural, black and white monochrome look.
